Rockstar Games has indeed delayed the launch of GTA 6 until November 2026, which means gamers all over the world would have to wait for more than a year. To mitigate the delay, the studio reportedly intends to give the game a free GTA 5 on PC start via a limited period free access.
The rumor mill suggests that Sony may add GTA 5 to its November 2025 PS Plus free game giveaway. Although it has not been confirmed by the company, a lot of online speculation and leaks point to the game being accessible from November 18, 2025.
PS Plus subscriptions in India have a variety of plans. The Extra monthly subscription is available at Rs 749, while the Deluxe monthly subscription at Rs 849. Both plans allow the subscriber to download and play the included games without any extra charges.
Rockstar has stated that the longer development time for GTA 6 is to make the game more beautiful and better in terms of performance. Until then, PC players can explore Los Santos and play GTA 5, which is often considered the most likable game in the series.
On the other hand, Microsoft’s Xbox has introduced its Cloud Gaming service in India; the service is an option for players who do not have consoles. With Xbox Cloud Gaming, subscribers can play their favorite Xbox games through internet-connected devices such as PCs, smartphones, and TVs with just a Game Pass subscription and a compatible controller.
These newly available options ensure that the gaming community will not be completely cutoff from their beloved open-worlds during more than a year waiting period till GTA 6 comes out.
